Hey everyone. I’m a wordpress newbie with relatively little experience. I’ve created a web site using word press and i’m trying to do something incredibly basic — something that has been a function in nearly every WYSIWYG editor since i remember them existing — but i can’t seem to find the way to do it in wordpress.
I would simply like to embed a custom drop down menu into a specific page or post itself (much like exists in the “Appearance” section in the wordpress backend, and nearly every web page these days, including this very page i’m typing in right now) rather than the blog generally. In my case, i have a series of pdf documents that i would like to have linked from menu items on a specific page I have set up.
Does anyone know how to do this? I’ve searched the word press forums and seen similar questions asked, perhaps not as precisely worded, that have gone unanswered. I’ve also seen plugins that might let people do this — most specifically this one — http://txfx.net/wordpress-plugins/page-links-to/ — but for the life of me i can’t figure out how to do this.
Any thoughts from folks would be appreciated!
Thanks!!
