    I have 6 buttons with different amounts:
    $150, $250, $350, $500, $750, $1000 and a custom amount field enabled with a minimum of $500

    I cannot click on any of the buttons below $500 or I will this error message:
    “Donation Amount” must be greater than or equal to 500

    Is this the expected behavior? If I set a minimum value, I cannot have buttons with a value less than the minimum?

    I currently have the custom field disabled to allow for all of the buttons to work.

    Thank you for sharing the exact steps on how you encountered the issue. I was able to replicate the problem that you’re encountering, and I’ve filed a bug report for it that you can view in here — https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/setting-a-minimum-custom-amount-should-still-allow-set-donation-levels-below-tha.

    Currently, I don’t have a timeline for it, but I’ve linked this post internally to the bug report so that when a fix for it has been released, we can update this post.

    You’re right, this shouldn’t be the expected behavior, as the setting for the minimum custom donation amount only appears when you do enable custom amount. What’s currently happening is that the minimum custom amount that you set affects all the donation levels, and that is why you’re getting that error.

    In your shoes, if you can, I would set the custom minimum amount to the lowest level of your donation levels (which in your case, is $150). This will prevent future donation levels lower than the custom minimum amount from getting an error.
