Custom CSS

Trying to customize owl-carousel CSS, and have been unable to override CSS styles defined in any of the files in owl-carousel/css/ by any of the normal override methods that work with other plugins. Only way that works for owl-carousel is to directly edit the style.css, owl.theme.css, etc. in the plugin itself.

But when the plugin is updated, all css files get overwritten and any changes are lost. Changing permissions on the files would make updates for the rest of the plugin fail.

Any ideas?
