• Hi to all
I´m new to wordpress and having some trouble with WYSIWYG editor.

    1) default (kubric) theme. I got the .alignright/left on the css so that text wraps the image. But when I go to “write” on the admin panel, any of the buttons there is to make an image class=”alignright/left”. The image button gives lots of options of alignement, but any of those is class=”alignright/left”. Or am I missing something?

    2) Is there a way to add a custom button? So for example when i click it it puts <div class”xxxx”>selected text</div>? I have some special classes (quotes, and some else) that I liked to apply them with one of those buttons instead of having to write the code

    Any advice will be apreciated

    Thanks in advance

  • Get rid of the wysiwyg. You’ll have only problems with it.
Use the normal editor with the quicktags. You can always add custom quicktags to it:

I think thats the best advice, but we are two editors on the blog: I understand very well html/css, but my partner is a complete noob.

I´ll se what I do, cause I really dont like that editor

Believe me, it is easier to teach a non-techie to use the html editor than to teach anybody how to use correctly the wysiwyg. Not to mention the bugs in it 🙁

is the WYSIWYG editor going to be upgraded on next release? everyone seems to be hating it
