CSV Upload Problems

    Hey Folks,

    I recently updated to the new (4.0) events calendar. I’m now having trouble when I try and upload events via CSV. When I upload more than 50 at a time (varies every time by a few), it only uploads around 50, then redirects me to the following page.

    example.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=events-importer&tab=csv-importer

    On my site this page shows as a 404 error. Before, it would redirect me to the dashboard showing the number of events successfully uploaded.

    None of the plugins/themes have changed on my end. I also have a purchased copy of the 4.0 community events plugin, and it seems to be working fine.

    Am I the only one with this problem? Has anyone found a solution?

    Howdy anltv,

    I have not seen any reports of similar behavior. I have imported quite a batch of event myself and not seen that either.

    It could be your server is timing out. Basically it feels like the page load is taking too long, and so it stop sending data. To test and actually fix this you would need to consult your webhosts documentation or support on how to change the page timeout. It’s probably set at something around 30 seconds, try doubling or tripling it. Does that help?
