CSV template for Calendar Import???

Apologies if this exists on here somewhere already! I have been at this for quite some time today and am at my wits end.

Q 1: are there excel templates with correct category labels for Venues, organizers, and events that I can use as a guide to import csv calendar data to the site?

What is driving me crazy is the number of different options that seem very similar under venues, organizers, and events.

I have calendar data from Ical – that i converted to utf-8 encoded CSV and imported with only small modification needed.

I have calendar data from html – that i converted to utf-8 encoded CSV that is driving me nuts.

For whatever reason I keep thinking that I should be able to slap all of the necessary data for venues, organizers and events into one spreadsheet (utf-8 encoded csv) and import that same file 3 times (once for venues, once for organizers, once for events)….selecting certain columns for ven, certain columns for org, and certain columns for event.

Sorry for this horrendous description. My head is reeling right now and patience are super thin.
