CSS Problems in Chrome and Safari | WordPress.org

On http://www.431verstaerker.com I am currently developing a child theme of Twenty Thirteen. In Firefox, everything is fine.

However, in Chrome and Safari, beginning with the first widget, layout and style are a total mess => as if the CSS-instructions are not found for the rest of the page.

I have no idea why this happens and never before I had a similar problem.

Try sorting out the validation errors on the Home page: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.431verstaerker.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

Specifically these errors;

Line 319, Column 132: Element br not allowed as child of element ul in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)

Line 321, Column 39: Element div not allowed as child of element ul in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)

Thanks a lot! It now works – however, some errors I couldn’t sort out as they are produced by third party plugins which I want to use. And I don’t want to change the code of those.
