Hi. I should start by saying that I am new to WordPress.

When I activate the FakerPress plugin, I start getting a CSS loading issue and I am unable to add new pages. I am not sure what other areas are also affected. I went through my list of installed plugins, deactivated them all, then started enabling them one by one and was able to put together a list of plugins causing the issue, and FakerPress was one of them.

Any help with this would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

HI @thefreecircassian, do you mind sharing some screenshots so I can start looking into your problem?

Hi Gustavo. Thank you for the quick response. I’d like to apologize. I thought I tested it thoroughly. I am pretty sure it was consistently breaking adding new page but now I am seeing adding a page is fine but editing a page is not working.

I am including a link for a short video showing the issue I am having right now.

Thank you for the video, unfortunately that didn’t provide me enough to try to debug and find a fix.

I will point you to a couple of resources that might be able to allow you to pin-point the problem a little better to share with me here.

Query Monitor is a really good plugin to allow you to see if there is anything bad going on.

With it you will be able to check if FakerPress is loading anything on that page. Either a Script or a CSS that might be breaking.

It can also be a PHP Fatal/warning which query monitor will also help.

Check here on the Plugins repository for the plugin “Query Monitor” and install that.

Hi Gustavo. Thank you for the valuable advice. I did install and activate it and I will spend some time to learn how to properly use it.

I thought I’d give you a quick update for now. In an attempt to isolate the cause, I have switched to the Twenty Twenty-Two theme. When I tested the first time, it appeared to load just fine both for adding and editing pages. But after that the issue started happening when editing pages.

Whether the plugin is activated or deactivated, Query Monitor shows PHP error messages. I will keep investigating and I will contact support teams for both WordPress and the theme I am using. I will give you an update in the coming days.

Here’s another video showing the outcome using the Twenty Twenty-Two theme.

    Hi @bordoni

I continued investigating this and was able to trace the cause to one plugin managed by the host. Styles were breaking intermittently and that’s why I got confused and thought it was happening when other plugins are activated.

I am able to activate FakerPress without issues.

I am going to mark this as resolved. Thank you.

Thank you so much! I am glad you were able to get fix in place. I am glad you can now use FakerPress.

Let me know if I can help at any point.
