Hi @andyashwin72,
Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!
This is indeed cause by bug (newly introduced data type checks are too strict), and this will be fixed in the next release shortly! In the meantime, you can fix this manually, with quick file modifications on your site.
For that, using e.g. an FTP program or the “Plugin Editor” that is built into WordPress, please find the three files
/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/libraries/csstidy/class.csstidy.php
/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/libraries/csstidy/class.csstidy_optimise.php
/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/libraries/csstidy/class.csstidy_print.php
and in each of them remove line 11
declare(strict_types=1);
Best wishes,
Tobias
Thanks Tobias, that’s perfect.
That was a scary error message!
Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped and sorry again for the trouble!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!
Hi everyone,
Quick update: I have just released TablePress 3.4.1 which prevents the error from showing 🙂 You should be seeing the update in your site’s admin dashboard shortly.
For more details, you can find the release notes at https://tablepress.org/release-announcement-tablepress-3-4-1/
Best wishes,
Tobias
