Hello, I have been using the Members plugin for a while, but last week a problem occured. I can’t add/change roles of users.

In the Members plugin, when I go to “Roles” and then “Has users” it says “a critical error has occured on this website”. I tried deactivating/activating the plugin and re-installed the plugin but this didn’t help.

Can someone help me with this?

I received this information in email:

    Hi @mevrmaartje

Does it happen only when you click on “Has users” link in Roles page?

It looks like one of your roles might be broken. All roles are stored in the database in the wp_user_roles option in the wp_options table, so reach out to your hosting and see if they have any backup of this wp_options table so you can revert back any latest changes to this option.

    I hope that helps.

I deactivated all plugins and reactived all. Now it only says critical error when i click on the “has users” link. The rest works fine now. I will try your advice and let you know!
