Hi @p4fbradjohnson,
critical CSS is generated on my server and then sent back to WP Performance.
@alaca
Thank you for your response. That’s interesting. How do you deal with GDPR? Also, wouldn’t I need an API?
Sorry for the questions. I might decide on doing a video review on the plugin and those are questions I would need to clarify. Also, on the group I shared the plugin too, a member asked a similar question.
Hi @p4fbradjohnson,
When you try to generate critical CSS, WP Performance is sending an API request to my server with only one information and that’s the site URL. However, that information is not stored on my server so there are no issues with GDPR.
If you decide to do a video review, that would be great. Then I suggest you to wait for a few days because a new update is on its way.
If you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to answer them.
Thanks,
Ante

Thank you so much for your feedback. I will share this answer with the group on facebook.
is the critical css generated per page template or per page? Comparing it to criticalcss.com and Autoptimize.
Hi @alriksson
currently critical CSS is generated only for homepage.
Ok, would need to be generated per cpt to compete with wp rocket and criticalcss.com with autooptimize.
but thanks for letting me know
Any updates on this @alaca to generate on page level and all pages? crawl though XML sitemap?
No, not at the moment. Currently, other features have priority.
Anyway, critical CSS will be generated per post type, not per page.
