Hi, just installed Forminator and looks great but not working yet.
When I create a form and add fields I get an error message saying “something went wrong, unable to save form”? If I go to the Appearence tab the field I added do not show up and the auto save keep spinning. Please advise, thanks

    Hello @henkjan100

I’m sorry to hear you are having issues when trying to save a form. In order to identify what’s causing this, first, make sure that the site is using the latest WordPress version (7.0.3) and a compatible, supported PHP version (between 8.2 and 8.4). Then, please run a Conflict Test, by making a backup of your site, or use a staging site where the issue can be replicated, and deactivate the rest of the plugins along with using a default TwentyTwenty-Five theme and see how Forminator behaves, then reactivate the components of the site until you identify what was causing the issue. If nothing of this works, please let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Jair.

    Hello Jair,
I did all of the above and it’s still not working.
As soon as I have selected fields for a form and click on “next” the next tab does not show any fields and the “automatic saving” wheel keeps spinning.
I tried PhP 8.4 and 8.5 and the twenty twenty five theme all without succes.
    Please advise

    Hello @henkjan100

If you tried disabling all plugins and switched to a default theme and the issue persists, this could be due to a firewall blocking the Formiantor requests.

Could you please check your browser console logs while the form is not working? Please share a screenshot of any errors you are seeing there.
    https://previder.nl/support/algemeen/browser-console-openen

You can share them using a third-party free storage like Google Drive.

A firewall at the server or CDN level can block the requests and cause similar issues. If you are seeing any 403 errors in console logs, you should contact your hosting provider to help fix it.

    Best Regards
    Amin

Hello, I am happy to report I got the plugin to work. I consulted my proider, transip.nl and they told me the form was not saving due to the settings of a webfilter on their side. The SQL injection detection was set to on and when I turned it off everything worked fine. Kind Regards, HJ
