Thanks for your question. The answer depends on some additional details:
- Where does the credit information come from? Is it present in the image’s IPTC/EXIF metadata, or will you enter it manually?
- Where do you want to store the credit information? Will it be all or part of the “caption”, another standard field or a custom field?
- How do you want to use/display the credit information? If it’s in the caption it will appear in the default gallery display. Otherwise, you must make some explicit arrangement to add it to the display.
You can use the IPTC/EXIF or Custom Field mapping rules to add credit information to images as they are uploaded and you can run the rules against images already in the Media Library.
If you will enter the information manually, you can use the Bulk Edit area to do that for many images at a time.
