creating unique photo ids via php

    Hi, quick question–

    I run a series on randomized header art–pictures of cities around the world. However, I am too lazy to tag each picture in photoshop. Is there a way that I can code the banner so that a line of text appears for the [file name] without the file extension (.jpg)?
