• I currently am running WordPress Multisite with multiple sites on it. I set it up for the sites to be sub-domains and now i am wondering if there is a way that I can create a sub-domain for a sub-domain. For example, I have my domain as “kurtisness.com”, and I have a sub-domain of “kjnphoto.kurtisness.com”. I would like to create another set of sub-domains off that that sub-domain, so that it may read as for example “gallery.kjnphoto.kurtisness.com” or “works.kjnphoto.kurtisness.com”.

I am asking because with the domain mapping I had a domain name of “kjnphoto.org” set up to be the primary domain of “kjnphoto.kurtisness.com” and I would like the sub sub-domain name of, for example, “gallery.kjnphoto.kurtisness.com” to be the sub-domain of my domain “kjnphoto.org”, so that the sub-domain of “kjnphoto.org” would be “gallery.kjnphoto.org”.

I looked and I did not see anything about that. Is that something that the multisite is capable of doing?

Actually you can do this in two ways:

    1) Use a Multi NETWORK plugins. – Difficulty level: HARD

    2) Make a subdomain like gallery-kjnphoto.kurtisness.com and then map gallery.kjnphoto.org to it. – Difficulty level: Easy

    I’d pick #2, personally.
