    I see how to set an email to be a link once the list is displayed, you just set the link type column to “mail to”. So how do I do this for a URL? The other choices don’t seem to produce the results I am looking for. This seems like a pretty basic choice. I must be missing something.

    Hi htown,
    yeah I guess it is obvious. Usually folks don’t want to display the url, they want it linked from behind say the name.
    (eg: with the users url linktype)

    If the plugin ‘knows’ what the field is it will usually format it appropriately however I see that if i choose to display the users url as it, it hasn’t made it a link, when it should.
    If your url is NOT the the wp users url field, then the plugin would need another way to know. Usually formatting has been done by add-on routines. eg the social add-on will show social media hyperlinks behind appropriate images etc.
