• When sharing a post/page from my site on twitter the featured image is clickable and if someone clicks on it they will be directed to my post/page.

If I share a tweet but upload my own image, if someone clicks on it, the image will just expand and they won’t be directed to my site.

Is there a plugin or some way that I can upload any image I’d like to a twitter post and attach a url to the image so if someone clicks on it in twitter, it’ll take them directly to the page I’d like them to go?

    Thanks for the help!

  • I don’t think you can do this. If you upload an image on the Twitter post then you can make it a clickable link with your link. it’s a Twitter thing, not a WordPress.

You can just change your Twitter thumbnail in WordPress so that when you share a link it can be displayed on a Twitter card.
