Creating a “Book Review” Page Type

Greetings,

I am posting book reviews on my web site, and would like to have a box in the post that has some standard info (title, author, year, my ratings, one-line summary, etc.) I only want it to appear on book reviews and not all posts are book reviews.

I’m somewhat new to WP – what is the best way to do this?

I do have some PHP and CSS literacy (more of the former than the latter) and am not afraid to write some code. I’m just not sure what the best way is to do this.
