Create Sandbox Site, then Transfer

I have a client who needs a redesign on their website. I’d like to keep their old site live while I work on a new theme and get everything just perfect in a Sandbox.

Once that’s done, how do I do a seamlessly transfer everything from my Sandbox to a hosting company? Are there any good tutorials? I haven’t been able to find anything.
