@checmark – Have you checked your server error_logs for any recent NextGEN Gallery related messages? WSOD on activation generally points to a server environment limit such as the PHP Memory Limit being too low (look for memory exhaustion errors).

    Thanks!

Thanks. Have already done the memory limit thing, increasing it. Bluehost simply deactivated the plug-in for me and my site was restored fine. I deleted the plug-in and I’m looking for another gallery plug-in. I was just shocked that such a popular plug-in would crash my site.

Avada tech support checked my history and said it was a real mess and they did some corrections. Another strange result of installing this plugin was that all of my images in the library were duplicated. Very strange.

@checmark – Avada can be challenging to work with from my understanding … hopefully this issue will not continue. As to the duplication of your images, that has never been reported before …

    … thanks for the updates.

Please feel free to send us a Bug Report (http://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) related to these duplicate images so we can get a better look under the page at your site.

We may need temporary log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress installation, please consider those for your Bug Report, too.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
