Hello,
Many thanks for this feedback.
Are you using WordPress 4.9.6?
But een if you’re not using it, I can figure why and how this can lead to such a CPU usage issue. This plugin only creates a widget, a shortcode and adds one CSS and one JS file to your WordPress installation.
But I really want to check this issue deepier, so could you provide me some additional informations please?
– WordPress Version
– What do you did after plugin activation: you used the provided Shortcode? you used the provided Widget? Both? None (it broke everything before you can manage to use it)?
Many thanks for your answers @aphrodite

Hi,
I tested the plugin on a multisite installation and it works fine. No particular CPU usage increase.
I let this ticket open a couple of day, so do not hesitate to get back to me with some further infos 🙂

Hi ! 🙂
Yes to all. 4.9.6, and shortcode usage. No widget 🙂
Well, in fact, i cannot insure you that the plugin activatin IS at 100% the culprit.
In fact, at the moment, i am still experimenting high CPU usage (a reactivated the plugin).
The 2 phenomenon are simultaneous but i am not able to confirm the cause/effect possibility.
The fact is that on THIS multisite it occures, but I am not able to reproduce the issue on another one on the same server.
Still digging 🙂
Thanks ! 🙂

Hi !
I think i found the culprit : PHP version 😉
And i reproduced the issue without problem : activating the plugin on a 5.6, CPU explodes.
On 7.2, back to 1.56% ! 😉

Feel free to send me your website public URL here or by email at audrasjb [ a t ] gmail [ d o t ] com 😉
Closing this topic since this doesn’t seems to be related to the plugin, but merely on this specific installation.
Feel free to ask for any further information 🙂
