    Hello,

    I am using the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin from WooCommerce. When customers pay with a coupon code, they get an error message “Invalid coupon code – it has been removed from your order”.

    Can you help me with this problem?

    this sound more like a WooCommerce issue than an issue with the payment plugin. Why do you think it is related to PayPal Payments? Do you also encounter this issue with other payment options?
    If you believe this is related to the PayPal Payment plugin, can you provide us with the logs of the plugin, so we can check further what is causing this?
    You can copy the logfiles from here:
    – WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “woocommerce-paypal-payments-integration-\[…\]” in the dropdown and click on view.

    Yes it is because of the PayPal plugin. If I disable it, then the coupons work normally.

    There is no “woocommerce-paypal-payments-integration-\[…\]” at the Logs. But the plugin is activated. Is it possible to find the logs somewhere else?

    it’s correct that you also opened the Service Desk engagement, correct?

    Just to add it here as well, this is probably a known one to us that should be solved in our next release. You can test our beta release here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/releases/tag/1.6.2-test1

    Be aware that this is not fully tested and could contain issues we have not found yet.

    I have the same problem. Using paypal UK.

    Single use coupon. ie Usage limit per coupon = 1
    Applied to order ok, total shows correct discounts.
    Checkout via WooCommerce PayPal Payments using Paypal option.
    Window to paypal opens, details correct, press place order button.
    Error shown to customer “Sorry, it seems the coupon “xxxxxxx” is invalid – it has now been removed from your order.”
    Checkout page now shows total

      without

    the coupon applied.
    It looks like the order has not been processed, i can press the paypal button again to complete the order.
    Paypal window opens but shows the original discounted price.
    I press place order again and it succeeds, the amount is the correct lower amount but the customer will be expecting the full amount before the coupon is applied.

    Thank you for reaching out to us, it seems this 1-time coupon issue was identified already and should be resolved in our next release.
    There is a beta version available, but this has not been fully tested. This version is available here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/releases

    Let us know if this resolves the issue.
