    Hi,

I need some help here. I can’t get excluded items working properly.

I created a smart coupon that should apply to the whole cart except for some items.

There’s a whole category that should be excluded. I added the category as exclusion in the settings. The result was not what I expected. The coupon should not be applied at all. The treshold of matching products was not reached. Apparently the product from the excluded category (gift cards) was included anyway. At least the discount was not applied the this product. I also tried the ‘all’ instead of ‘any’ option – just in case I had misinterpreted those terms. No difference in output.

Then I added the other categories (I only have 3) as included. Now it does result in the expected output. So far, so good. It’s not very logical, but also not much work.

However, I also offer some products amongst others in 1 category that should be excluded as well. But this time I want 2 items excluded and a few hundred included. Following the above mentioned procedure would be very time consuming and should be followed up every time I add new products.

Do I overlook some settings or is the plug-in not working properly?

    Hi @elmersw,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We were not able to replicate any issues in the usage restrictions section. It seems like there may be some conflicts. Could you please share the WooCommerce system status report (WooCommerce>status>system status report) via this link for a better understanding?
