Just took over a site with this plugin on it. Looks great and may now start using it on many others.

So that I am fully understanding, once a backup is run, is it literally an entire backup of the site that is tied in at the hosting/server level? And the external backups are then an additional backup copy that goes to say, Dropbox etc? So one backup to the server storage and one to the external?

With “restore”, will it literally put the site back exactly as it was when it was taken with just a few clicks?

There are so many plugins available that are similar, I am intrigued with this and may replace my others. Please advise, thank you!

A backup (by default) consists of the Plugins, Themes and Uploads, as well as the Database and any other non-backup directory in wp-content. Also if you have the premium version, you can set the WordPress Core to be backed up.

If external storage is set up, the backup will be deleted from the server. The option to change this can be found in the Settings Tab under ‘expert settings’

You can choose what you want to restore from a backup, e.g. only restore the themes directory. If a full backup was taken and you restore everything, then the site should be reset to as it was when the backup was taken.
