country not being blocked

    I’m using the plugin to block Mexico from visiting the frontend as well as backend. I tried visiting the website with a mexican proxy, but i was allowed access to the frontend and backend. I checked the proxy for location in tools page of the plugin and it says :”Location mexico” and that mexico is blocked from frontend and backend” . I tried this using several proxies and the result was same. Please suggest what could be the possible cause.

    PS: I’m NOT using a caching plugin, however my website is on managed wordpress on godaddy.
    Please respond asap.

    If you use a real proxy your real ip address may still be visible for the plugin.

    You can see which ip address is being picked up on the backend tab.

    Where it says:

    Your IP address is x.x.x.x. The country that is listed for this IP address is …..
