Countdown to jamaat time

    Hi,

    Overall the plugin is great. Having a slight issue with the countdown clock which appears closer to the Jamaat time. In the example on my domain, Fajr Jamaat is at 7am. I checked the plugin at 5:45am and the countdown (which appears under jamaat time) was showing at 15 mins left. So the time setting of the plugin is one hour ahead. It should have showed 1 hr 15mins left.

    Assalamualaikum my dear brother,

    can you tell me what city is selected under the timezone in wordpress settings, not the plugin settings. I think that is the issue. Please let me know.

    It was set to UTC+1. I’ve now changed it to UTC +0 and it’s working fine.

    Also linked with the same plugin, there is another issue that I’m facing. The theme that I’m using for the website usually displays the Hijri date. Once this plugin is activated, the theme stops displaying the Hijri date. I contacted the theme admin and he mentioned that the current plugin is ‘conflicting with the core plugin causing it not to display the hijri date’.
    Is there any way around this issue?

    hmm, that is a strange issue. I knew there was a conflict and was fixed in the latest version.

    Can you tell me if there is any error/exception/notification regarding this in the error log? Also, what is that theme, so I can test locally downloading that, if that is a free theme.

    Lastly, if you can send me a screenshot how you used it, so I can replicate the issue for you inshaa Allah.

    The Theme is a paid theme called Alim theme from (NAU themes).
