    Hi Frank,

    Could you help me a hand with the CCS-option? I enable it, and figured out that when I enable ‘CSS-bestanden samenvoegen’, my countdown timer on mobile (mobile only), becomes flawed (it collapses). However, with the option enabled, my google speed test score is way better, so I would like to use it.

    Anyway to exclude the timer from optimizing? Maybe other options?

    The timer is a widget from Crocoblock (Elementor add-on).

    OK, can you try excluding wp-content/plugins/jet-elements/ from CSS optimization?

    Tried that before, but now it works, thanks a lot. Please allow me to ask you 2 last questions (5 star rating already well deserved):

    – in Google speed test, I’ll still het ‘bronnen die de weergave blokkeren’: …css/autoptimize_f6145c…css. Can this be eliminated completely?
    – can autoptimize help with minimising Cumulative Layout Shift?

    Any way to give you a donation for the good work or buy a premium version by the way?

    For render-blocking CSS look into “inline & defer CSS”, more info in the AO FAQ.

    CLS can be hard to tackle and generally it is not something AO can fix (and inline & defer CSS can make CLS more pronounced even, it can take some tinkering). Based on a webpagetest.org test, the countdown-timer is one of the main reasons for the CLS (it seems there is JS involved to make it fit in a mobile viewport)?
