    This sounds familiar and could be the result of your theme or one of your other plugins that uses the fitVids javascript library to make your WordPress responsive. Unfortunately this script tempers with the embedding of the JW Player which mostly results in the problem you are describing.

    Please make sure none of your themes/plugins uses fitVids.js (sometimes this is incorporated in another javascript file).

    Thank you so much, yeah i checked and my theme had fitvid ive turned it off and now my mp4 video plays in chrome/i.e/ff and i just tested it on opera and it works thier too

    The only problem im running into now is it doesnt seem to be working on my android phone, it takes ages to load, the play icon is not to be seen,

    Can you offer me any advice on making it awesome for phones and tablets too

    Can you offer us a link to the page that doesn’t work in Android. Maybe we can see what the problem is.

    Did you change anything since the you posted the example?

    I’ve just tested it on my own Android and I can watch the video.

    No i havnt changed anything i dont think, the video just takes ages to load and doesnt play correctly when it has

    Strange, but it sounds more like connection problems than anything else.
