Could not instantiate mail function.

Hello,
I keep trying to get MailPoet to work, and the test emails go out fine, but when I try to subscribe on the page, I get the “Could not instantiate mail function” error.
Tried using SendGrid, but ran into a provisioning problem.
Can you help?
