Corrupted cforms settings array (raw code)

    I have moved the cforms II plugin from live server to my local server. Since some of the forms were not updated in my local, I copied the value of ‘cforms_settings’ from ‘wp_options’ table from live site DB to my local db. Now I am getting the error ‘Corrupted cforms settings array (raw code)’ in both y local and live server. When I click on ‘Fix and Save Data’, it informs me to deactivate and active the plugin again. But after doing that all the forms which were present previously got removed. Kindly let me know how to fix this issue.

    How did you copy the value? A safe way to do it would be using cformsII’s debug output (available on Global Settings), which lets you edit the value represented in JSON.

    I copied the value directly from the table ‘wp_options’ in DB. I can’t see any option called ‘debug output’ under Global settings in cformII.

    I can see that now. But when I click on ‘Produce debug output’, page is getting reloaded and I am not getting any data.

    But I can see the option ‘Backup/restore all settings’ for exporting the data and importing it to another server.

    What cforms version do you use? There should not be a ‘Backup/restore all settings’ in the current version.

    Did you try debug output on the installation with proper data?

    I am using the version 14.12

    I just clicked on the ‘Produce debug output’ in cforms admin menu. It just reloads the global settings page. Nothing else happening.

    Then please update to 14.13.3.

    Now I see a text area with contents when I click on ‘Produce debug output’. So I have to copy the content from here and update this in the new server in the same area and save it. Am I correct?

    Why the ‘Backup/Restore’ option is removed in this new plugin version. What if I want the backup of one particular form to be updated in another server.

    You are correct.

    The option was removed, because the format it used to use is not very flexible and was bad to maintain. You can do all the things that option was used for with the debug output.
