Do you know what’s sending the emails? If it’s a contact form plugin (Gravity Forms, for example), that could be using a separate email than the site’s email address in General Settings.
It is ContactMe plugin. But it has no settings. I even checked the MySQL databases and didn’t see ANY fields with the old email address.
So there are two plugins: ContactMe (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-contactme/) and Contact Me (http://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-contact-me/); I’m not sure which one you’re using. But I’ve just had a look at both, and they both have settings pages located within the Settings Dashboard area.
Contact Me has an :E-mail for notifications” field at the top list of editable options.
ContactMe does have form settings, though I don’t see an option to change who the email gets sent to.
I think I’ll try another plug in.
