    Thanks for your question. I want to make sure I understand your goal.

    If you want to add a copyright notice to a gallery display you have several options. You can use the mla_caption parameter of the [mla_gallery] shortcode or use a custom markup template. These options are good if you have copyright information stored in a custom field or in the IPTC/EXIF metadata within your image files.

    If you are asking how to add a copyright to the image files themselves, then MLA will not be helpful. MLA does not have any features that modify the attachment files. You can find more information and some suggestions in this earlier support topic:
