Yes – that’s perfectly possible. In fact every single person who visits your site has to download a copy of your pages to a temporary folder simply to view them in their web browser. That’s just how the web works.

If someone did this, would the styling, formatting, headers, etc. all work in a non-wordpress site hosted somewhere else?
Sure, why not. Want to test this out for yourself? In your browser go to File and then “Save as”.
I understand if the answer is yes, they would all be served from my hosting account.
Can you clarify what you mean here?

Thanks for the answers.
I meant that when I copied the source code to try it, I couldn’t see, say, an <img> tag for the header, so I wasn’t sure if that file and other image files are referenced in the html code in some other way, other than img tags.
In normal html, an img tag would specify the file path to the image, regardless of where it’s hosted and regardless of where it’s hosted, it would display with the page. Wasn’t sure how WordPress images are referenced in the html code of the page.

When you save the Webpage as “Webpage complete” it contains everything, images, javascript, HTML. So, they can literally take anything you put on the Web
