• Ends up my meta data plugin is way outdated and has not been working for who knows how long. Meaning the meta descriptions are not showing up in my code anywhere. I need to switch plugins but according to the plugin creator “there is no direct way of exporting this information”. (my current plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-meta-tags/ )

I’ve put meta data on every single post I have. Transferring it manually to a new plugin is going to take hours and hours of work.

I’m looking for anyone who might know of a way I can easily transfer my data without doing it one at a time.

    Thanks so much!

The data appears to be saved in custom fields, for each one of your posts. There are 3 custom fields available for each post:

    • _sc_m_title
    • _sc_m_description
    • _sc_m_keywords

You could export each one of these custom fields with a plugin like this one:

Thanks Jeremy! It appears that this plugin is not working correctly in my wordpress dashboard. Could be because its so old. I’m going to hunt for some others now though since I know what to look for.

Well I can’t find anything that will work. I may have to just copy them one at a time. ick.
