Hello. I’ve tried hard to find the answer for this before posting on both this support area and in datatables. When clicking the ‘copy’ button the result also copies the page name of the website and adds a blank row in between the data and the page name. I have been trying to find a way to have the copy button only copy the the table headers and data without adding the page name at the top and a blank row at the of the copied data. Its frustrating because when I download as CSV it only downloads the headers and data of the table – which is what is wanted. Why does COPY add the blank row and the page title? Thank you in advance for any help and support on this

This behavior is simply the default of DataTables’s Copy button. To change it you will need to customize DataTables, so the DataTables support forum is the more appropriate and likely place to get help. Good luck. 🙂

    Hi again Meitar

I have another question that borders on Inline vs DataTables question. So, I figured out that the datatables ‘message top’ and ‘title’ options for CSV Copy Excel etc. So not really asking for help with that specifically. However, when I try and save settings in “Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer Settings’ in the field you provided, it reloads with everything gone (deleted) including even the default settings.

I’ve tried several different things, and they disappear when saved and reloaded in your plugin’s settings.
Thank you again in advance for any plugin support you can provide here.

This is almost certainly because the value you are trying to save is not valid JSON. The syntax of JSON is very particular; be certain you have it correct. Use a JSON validator to help you out.

I have your Inline Viewer working PERFECTLY now. This is great…. I appreciate the breadcrumbs. Much better than someone doing it for me.
