Hi, quick question. How can I duplicate a page with the same featured image and basic settings, but keep the new copy as a draft?

    Thanks!

    Hi @damonmatheny7,

Good news — that’s exactly what the “New Draft” action is for. It creates a draft copy of your page that you can edit before publishing, leaving the original untouched.

You’ll find it in a few places:

    – In the Pages list, hover over the page and click New Draft in the row actions
    – In the block editor, open the sidebar and click Copy to a new draft
    – From the admin bar at the top while viewing the page on the front end

The featured image and most other settings (taxonomies, template, excerpt, custom fields, etc.) are copied by default. If you ever want to fine-tune what gets carried over, head to Settings → Duplicate Post → What to copy — you’ll see a checkbox for each element.

    Hope that helps!
