Really nice plugin, and the only one that works with mobile devices.

At the moment, I’m using it with WPBakery, and the one thing it’s missing is to be able to mimic the option in WPBakery in ‘Design Options’> ‘Fixed Background Style’> ‘Fixed’, rather than using parallax – ie the ‘modern’ way to use parallax, which would be an excellent addition for mobile browsers.

Any chance of adding ‘fixed’ backgrounds to this plugin?

    Hey.

Thank you for your kind words.

You just need to set parallax speed to 0:

    fixed background position

In this case, the parallax script will not calculate the image position, and rendering will work as fast as possible.

    Live example – https://wpbackgrounds.com/fixed-background-test/

    Hi @nko

The best solutions are always the simple ones.

Works super now, even on a mobile!

    Hi @nko

Something strange I just noticed when looking through my source code, though I’m not complaining – all of the background images (those that now have AWP integrated) are outputted with .webp extensions (I use short pixel and getting the background images to appear as .webp is near enough impossible).

Is this a welcome by-product of AWP?

    Hey.

I don’t quite understand the problem and your question. In the latest plugin update, we added support for webp images, that added from 3rd-party plugins (like short-pixel). Now styles for these images working correctly.

p.s. by AWP you mean our plugin awB?

    Sorry yes, I meaant AWB.

It’s probably because I was posting about AWB and .webp and got things mixed up!

Hey if you already support .webp images, that explains a lot, thanks!
