Cookies not loading after user accepts

    Hi,

    I ticked the reload page when the user scrolls and cookies are loaded after the page load. However, when someone clicks the Accept button, cookies are not loaded. It doesn’t make any sense to me. What am I missing?

    Hi @lauratraveler,

    We have not implemented the feature to reload the page after “Accept”. We will be updating the plugin with the feature in the coming version.

    @markwt Thanks for letting me know. So basically for now even if the user accepts the cookies the cookies are still not set in their browser… it’s like they reject the cookies… Do you have a date for the update?

    Hi @lauratraveler,

    When the user accepts the cookies the value of the consent cookie viewed_cookie_policy is set and the scripts are rendered when the browser is reloaded. The Accept does not reload automatically which we will fix shortly.

    @markwt Got it! The Reject button doesn’t seem to work for my Google Analytics script (I have it placed in Non-Necessary cookies – head). I have another script from Amazon (placed in Non-Necessary cookies – body) and this one seems to work fine on page reload with reject.

    Hi @lauratraveler,

    We have checked this again with the free version and it seems to work fine on our end. Can you please raise a ticket on our support desk here, so that we can look into the issue in detail?
