Cookies error AND Cannot set time limit etc

    Hi all.
    I’m rather backward on WordPress and website stuff, so please be patient with me!
    My website is vhjet.com
    I wound up with two errors simultaneously about a year ago and tried to fix them then, failed, and have only just got back to it.
    The problems are that I get the well-known:
    ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.
    I tried clearing my cache etc, and also tried commenting out the cookie test in my code. My code looked different to the advice given on the forum at the time, but tried anyway to no avail.
    My other problem is the list of 5 warnings that include:
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/vhjetcom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-backup/simple-backup-ftp-tools.php:17) in /home/vhjetcom/public_html/wp-login.php on line 415
    … etc …
    I have tried to find php.ini to modify it per some forum advice, but can’t find it.
    The errors came after I did two things at once: updated to a new version of WordPress, and tried to set up website back-ups.

    Anyway, I’m on to the problem now with commitment!

    By the way…
    It seems my current version of WordPress per the email I got about auto update is 3.8.4, which wasn’t an option on the drop-down list.

    After working through one of the closed topics again, I have now solved the problem. Thanks to Tara: I have disabled the back-up plugin.
