Cookie problem

    If you have a cookie plugin like Complainz, the video’s… even the self hosted, wont show unless cookies are accepted. But, can you have a cookie banner instead of just showing a white square?

    Hi Pieterjan,

    Thanks for reaching out and explaining your setup.

    In this case, Complianz is blocking the video until cookies are accepted, so Presto Player never loads and you only see the white square. Presto Player doesn’t control the cookie banner or message there.

    To show a banner or “accept cookies to play this video” notice instead of a blank area, you’ll need to enable/configure the video placeholder or consent message inside Complianz. Once that’s set, visitors will see the banner, and after accepting, Presto Player will load the video normally.

    If you can share a URL where this happens and a screenshot of your Complianz settings, I’ll be happy to take a closer look.
