Accidently converted categories to tags

    I mistakenly, at the bottom of the catagories page in my dashboard-

    Categories can be selectively converted to tags using the category to tag converter

    , clicked that and converted 8 of my catagories to tags.

    I hadn’t realized that they would move the catagories to tags.

    Is there a way to make them ‘catagories’ again? Importing a backup of the database that I have from the other day? or something else?

    Either manually put the categories back, and then edit each post and select the appropriate category for each post or restore your backup.

    Before doing anything, backup your database now just in case!!!!
