Control active menu link when multiple categories?

    Is is possible to control which category displays bold in a menu/minimise to one, when the active post is in multiple categories.

    I have my sidebar menu made up of categories. I have used the css selector .current-post-ancestor to display bold but is confusing to have multiple categories display bold.

    Is there a better way of doing it?

    I hope this is clearer:

    I have created a menu consisting of categroies. Some of our post need to go into more than one category. We want the categroy of the current post to be bold (I have done this by referencing ‘current-menu-parent’ in the css file). The problem now is, multiple categories appear bold. Can I control which of the multiple categories displays bold?
