• I’m using the ‘Email Subscribers & Newsletters’ plugin to send out a message everytime there is a new post. It worked intermittently and I was recommended the ‘WP-Mail-SMTP’ plugin to help it run better. For a while, it seemed to have worked, but there still seems to be something amiss, as the most recent post didn’t trigger a message.
    Can someone please suggest a fix and/or tell me what the problem is? I’ve read through the FAQ and related documents, and double checked that the post in question is not in an unselected category.

    @ellierose101,

    Emails might be getting blocked or some other setting might be missing. You might have checked this article, right?

    De-activate WP Mail SMTP plugin once and then have a check if it is working.

    Yes, I read that article.
    If it was a case of emails getting blocked, or a setting being out of place, wouldn’t the issue be there all the time? It’s the fact that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t that baffles me.
    Tried changing the mail type to plain text, but it makes the message garbled.

    @ellierose101,

    Did you try sending emails without SMTP method?

    As I explained in my original message, I only tried the SMTP plugin because I was already having issues. It didn’t cause the problem.

    @ellierose101,

    Ask your System Admin/Host Provider if they are blocking emails from Email Subscribers.
