Content restrictions for WP Knowledgebase categories

I read this in your FAQ:

Can I control privacy or content restrictions for WP Knowledgebase categories and posts?

Yes. Any content restriction solution that is compatible with Custom Post Types should work with WP Knowledgebase.

I use Ultimate member and that is an excellent tool. It works well with WP Knowledgebase articles but not work with WP Knowledgebase categories.
I can set whatever I want for the categories but the system doesn’t deal with it. If the article has a right, which says that that article is available for logged in users only, the system will ask for the user’s credentials. But I would like to use it for categories also and show just the lists of those articles or categories where the user rights is appropriate to see it. Although I can set it when I edit WP Knowledgebase categories but it doesn’t work.

Any advice?
