Is it not possbible that the article image is setup as the featured image, too?
Unfortunately not at the moment, because some templates do not properly support the featured image option from scratch and we need to store the featured image differently… but we will look into some work around to only store it once and use it in both cases (article image and featured image).
You can have the articles images attached to the posts, you will however need them to be hosted locally (download and save to your own server).

Please try to provide an option to use content image as featured image. Currently it takes too much space.. 🙁
my server is full of imported images but this administrator does not care to fix it in any way, there is only support for paying users

I understand your concern.
We really apologize but we are still working on this issue as this only happens to selective user and we are looking into why.
Now we can suggest a solution for this,Use an external CDN to host images…this is easily done by taking advantage on
amazon S3.
Amazon S3 is just an option to be used as cdn, there are other
options as well. There are wordpress plugins that help with this.
I unfortunately can not recommend any specific one,I will suggest you hire someone to help them achieve this just on case you are not familiar with the process.
