I’m having trouble figuring out how to make the content / blog post area wider. Currently, it looks like I have 3 columns: the first containing my blog posts, the second containing nothing and the third containing my sidebar widgets.

When I inspect the element in Chrome, it looks like the content area fills the entire column one and two, even though the blog text stops 1/3 of the way into the screen.

    Any ideas?

The blog page (posts) has 2 or 3 columns (depending on the availability of active widgets in sidebar).

Right now, I don’t have any widgets in use at all. I want to stretch the blog post text out to fill the right 2/3 of the screen, but it seems like it can’t be done. I can’t find anything in the sidebar, post or page PHP files that allows me to change any widths or eliminate any columns.

On another note, all of my Pages look fine. My content fills in the right 2/3 with a sidebar column on the left.

At one point I tried doing a static homepage, but that led to a giant “Home” button in the center of the content area and nothing else.
