• Hello All,

I built a website using the Twenty Twenty Five theme. I am an admin and everything looks good on my end, but other admins are running into a container issue. When they go into the editor on their end (from their computer), all the filled containers (on my side) show up as empty containers, asking what layout they want, on theirs. I have updated everything.

Confirmed so far: all plugins updated, same dropdown menu when mouse is hovering on “appearance” (themes, editor, customize, fonts, starter templates), their cache and cookies have been cleared, they’ve confirmed the issue across various devices and browsers, I had him sign in under my account from his device and the containers were suddenly filled correctly, but not when he switched back to his again. Activated plugins are the same for both of us:

Akismet Anti-spam: spam protection, all in one seo, ewww image optimizer, media library downloader, orbit fox companion, spectra, starter templates, the events calendar, themehawk customizer, translatepress – multilingual, updraftplus – backup/restore, wp super cache, wpforms lite (to be fair, I didn’t download orbit fox, themehawk, spectra, and some others, and not sure if they’re even being used)

Any ideas on what to try next?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Since the containers display correctly when the other admin uses your account on the same device, the issue may be related to user-specific settings, permissions, or editor data rather than browser cache.

Here are a few things I would check next:

    1. Compare user roles and permissions: Confirm that both accounts have the same administrator role and capabilities.
    2. Check the WordPress editor: Determine whether the containers are actually missing or simply appear as empty blocks asking the admin to choose a layout.
    3. Check for plugin conflicts: Since Spectra and Starter Templates are installed, test whether the issue persists when the relevant plugins are temporarily deactivated on a staging site. Back up the site before testing.
    4. Inspect the saved content: Compare the affected templates or pages to determine whether the block content is missing or simply failing to display correctly for that user.
    5. Test with a fresh administrator account: Create a temporary admin account to see whether the issue affects newly created users as well.

I’m also working with a WordPress website, Kitchen Remodeling NJ, so I’m interested in understanding how others troubleshoot similar WordPress editor issues.
