contactme is spammer

    Contactme.com is a spammer. Once you install this plugin it asks for email and after that it regularly sends spam emails. Even if you uninstall this plugin it won’t stop spamming.
    I do not recommend this plugin.
    I request to WordPress to block this plugin.

    If you do contact WordPress with your concerns please make sure you say that it is ‘Contact Form by ContactMe.com’. I have had a plugin on WordPress called ContactMe for over 2 years which is nothing to do with ContactMe.com and I wouldn’t want to get blocked my mistake.

    Might be worth emailing plugins@wordpress.org yourself as well – it will help avoid confusion.

    Thank you for letting us know about this issue. We do send email messages with tips on how to get started and make the most out of ContactMe and users can opt out at any time with a simple click. After looking into it, we just found a bug where some users remained on the list after uninstalling the plugin. We will fix ASAP. Thanks!
