Contact Form 7 Required Fields

When a user leaves a required field blank validation puts up an error in the field. However, the field with the error message will not accept data when trying to enter the correct information in that field. The error message can’t be selected, deleted or edited, and the form has to be refreshed and all information re-entered from scratch to complete the form. This seems like a bug. Does anyone have a fix? Many thanks!

I’ve got the same issue. Must have happened after one of the last minor updates.

Okay, found it happens since the latest update to version 3.6. Does anyone have an idea please? It’s a really annoying bug.

@nils – This is normal behaviour in Contact Form 7 v3.6

Floating validation tip has been removed for accessibility improvement. See the changelog of v3.6.

This is a normal behavior? People have to reload the whole page and have to fill in everything again? Sorry, but that’s a really stupid behavior…

I am working on a website who had this plugin as part of their theme.

Yes… it is annoying how it behaves. If I filled out that entire form I’d not fill it out again. 🙁
