Do you see any errors or just don’t receive the messages?
Hi Takayuki,
I don’t get any errors at all. In fact what I get is “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.” But nothing gets through.
Please I need to get this fix asap as I am afraid I am losing potential customers since last week.
Thanks
Hi Takayuki,
Thank you for your responds. To be honest with you I don’t know where to start..
This is the first time I have this error. I am the developer of my own website so I don’t know where to ask for help.
Thanks
Hi Takayuki,
I just realized that if there’s something wrong in my mailserver, I shouldn’t received any email which is not the case. What I don’t get is the test inquiry I did. I just did another test inquiry is nothing is working.
When I sent an email to my own email address it all works out properly. I asked my collegue to send me an email and it also works. The only thing is not working is the test inquiry in did on the contact form.
Thanks
Hello,
We have the same problem :
– Before we used the following configuration which worked,
Email
To : marketing@acmfrance.fr
From : [text-917] [your-name]<[your-email]>
Subject : [menu-807]
And today we have the following configuration errors,
Email
To : marketing@acmfrance.fr
From : [text-917] [your-name]<[your-email]>
This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.
Subject : [menu-807]
This field can be empty depending on user input.
We have tried looking at the FAQ but have not been able to resolve this problem. (http://contactform7.com/configuration-errors/) Also we have tried using the same email address as the To : which saves without any errors but still doesn’t work when we send a message from the site. (www.acmfrance.fr/contact-demande-catalogue-devis/)
@berangere, try the following.
In the Mail Tab:
To: marketing@acmfrance.fr
From: [text-917] [your-name]<wordpress@acmfrance.fr>
In Additional Headers: Reply-To: [text-917] [your-name]<[your-email]>
“This field can be empty depending on user input.” can be fixed by adding a * the Subject code on the Form Tab like this:
<p>Subject (required)<br />
[text* your-subject] </p>
Hope this helps?

Hi Takayuki,
Any help that you can spare? I have another website using contact form 7 older version 4.3 and so far is isn’t causing any problem and is working fine.
I am not quite sure if it has something to do with the newest version 4.4. I cannot gamble to update it to 4.4 on my other website because I am afraid that it will also cause issue, not unless you tell me it isn’t.
I will not bother you if this is not causing me a lot of problem, if you cannot help me with this, at least say something or give me alternatives please.
I’m sorry if I’m causing you pain, but I am desperate to get this fixed.
All the best,
This has nothing to do with 4.4. Rather I suggest upgrading to 4.4 soon because it provides configuration validator.
Hi,
Anything yet?
I’ve spoke to my email/hosting provider and they said there’s nothing wrong on their end. In fact they’ve tested to send an email to my email address and it went through without any issues.
They said the issue was on the contact form because any test email we did that day was not in sending at all even on the webmail.
Any other suggestion please.. please. please.. please..
have you tried changing your ‘from:’ field ?
From: [your-name]<wordpress@directorsoi.com>
to
From: wordpress@directorsoi.com
Hi Ericgf,
Yes, I actually did that but no difference.
I don’t know now on what I need to do.
Any other contact form you can suggest?
